Wooden doors owe their popularity to the beauty and elegance that they bring. Some of the disadvantages are that the frames absorb moisture which can lead to rotting and can also become infested with insects. A good quality wooden timber door is a more expensive option compared to aluminium and UPVC frames but will serve you a lifetime, whereas cheaper wood can become weak and eventually corrode with time.
